To initiate the diagnosis process, users must obtain a valid activation code delivered via email. Once acquired, they can commence the diagnostic procedure, requiring a second smartphone or tablet to capture images of the enrolled device as per the app's guidance. The app leads users through the diagnostic instructions to ensure accurate image capture.

Upon capturing the necessary images, the system proceeds to analyze the device's health based on the diagnostic findings, thereby determining the success of the diagnosis. A successful diagnosis activates the plan, enabling access to the Samsung Care+ program.

In case of a failed diagnosis, users are granted a second attempt, providing an opportunity to address any potential device issues. It is important to note that if both diagnosis attempts are unsuccessful, the plan will be canceled.
